Gärdsbygubarnas Polska

Hello!
I love this tune, it rocks! We played this one at Halsway in 2018 and I learnt it in turn from the awesome Olle Gällmo.
Enjoy!

Skomakarpolskan

Hello!
Time for another polska, this is Skomakarpolskan, not to be confused with Skomakaren. It's a great little polska to help with this particular type of rhythm. I first learnt this on the nyckelharpa and it's just as great on that too!

Långdans från Sollerön

Hello!
A tune that most of us säckpipa players play, so a good tune to put in your repertoire. I learnt this from the wonderful Olle Gällmo.

Polska efter Sven Donat

Hello!
A tune from a collection in Småland, this is Polska after Sven Donat. Because my family are from Jönköping in Småland, there are going to be quite a few tunes from there coming up in the future!
Enjoy!

Brudmarsch efter Nedergårds Lars

Hello!
A tune I taught at the säckpipas at Halsway Manor 2018. I learnt this from the most amazing player, Olle Gällmo. Without Olle it's likely that no-one would be playing! This is a tune that we all play when we start playing.

Hamburska efter Pehr Ericsson

Hello!
I love this tune, it's so jolly. I learnt it in Sweden at a meeting of säckpipa players called Pösuträff and taught it at Halsway Manor in 2018.
Enjoy!

Långdans

Hello!
It's time for some new tunes to be uploaded! Having run a säckpipa weekend at Halsway Manor last year I filmed a bunch of tunes and then I forgot to share them here. So I shall gradually put them all up here! First we have a very simple långdans!
Enjoy
:)
